Loudon resident Penny Young is suing Celtic Insurance Co., claiming it dropped her coverage when she needed it the most. The company's actions have resulted in about $20,000 in unpaid claims, Young said, and many, many sleepless nights.

CONCORD - The New Hampshire congressman said a provision from a House health care reform plan that bans the use of federal funds to cover abortions will restrict access. However, he stopped short of saying he would not vote for the plan.
WASHINGTON - Following the unveiling of the Senate Democratic leadership's version of health care reform, the senator fielded questions during a teleconference call yesterday morning.
The Senate Majority Leader’s plan would expand coverage to 94 percent of Americans through a government-run health insurance option — allowing states to opt out — while taxing some "Cadillac" plans.
PELHAM - Updated, 1:25 p.m. A Pelham Elementary School student, who had a serious medical condition and was suffering from H1N1, died Tuesday night. The school superintendent said it is speculative to say swine flu caused the child's death because of the other complications.
Concord - Updated, 5:00 p.m. Two adults and one child in New Hampshire have died since August as a result of the H1N1 swine flu virus, the state's public health director said today.
